one of the best things about being a photographer with a blog is the ability to have total control with wonderful bias. with that in mind, i present a whole blog post dedicated to my friends. sure, faith and felix’s wedding was gorgeous and, sure, we meet a whole slew of people we didn’t know that were incredibly gracious, kind, and beautiful, and yes weddings embody a wonderful collision and joining of two families. i get it. but, dang it, i want to show off my friends. Felix was my college roommate and i could tell some stories… some very sad stories about not getting girls…ever. but i won’t. i am going to save him (read: myself) the embarrassment. what i will show is how patience paid off for felix. paid off with interest. he somehow landed a fantastic lady. can you hear the amazement screaming out loud through my keypad? anyways, here is faith and felix and a whole lot of my beautiful friends who went to his wedding.
as many of you already know or haveĀ put together, this is my brother david and his new wife, kara beth. their wedding took place right on the river in northern alabama. the ceremony took place at sunset, and my new sister-in-law was stunning, as you will see for yourself. looking back on this crazy busy summer we have had it is nice to gather these images together and really see what a beautiful day it was. we love them and are so excited for their new life together.
most of you know that may/june is our absolute busiest time of year. consequently, we have several posts storing up inside of our brains bursting to get out! since, we are working on editing for weddings and some other shooting, we thought we would post a quick peek into some upcoming posts. hope you enjoy, more to come soon-promise.
lisa and david were married on their own property last saturday. the biggest challenge was that it was the day after a huge rainstorm, so the ground felt like you could sink into it-yikes! but it turned out beautifully, a perfect outdoor wedding in texas.here are some of the shots, enjoy.
Chris and Maria had a wedding so sweet and genuinely special that we wanted to put them on our blog as the first wedding post. enjoy some of these images from a wonderful day.
